My room, a table and dwarfs
After moving to Berlin, finding an appartment, I finally started a few weeks ago to … “create content”:
Already Done: Removing the old 300W lamp because it uses to much energy / discovering that no lamp is not a solution (even when it’s really efficient when it comes to energy comsumption) / buying a new 300W dimmer, because my room was to dark / painting the walls (before it was turquoise!) / removing a huge and ugly slidedoor / buying jalouisies (30,00 Euro per piece) / discovering at home that the mounting brackets are not included / spending 10,00 Euro per piece for the mounting brackets
Since I’m a addicted to products that look “clean” and functional (ex. SingleSpeed-mountainbikes) I threw most of the stuff I rarely need out, so there only 10 banana-boxes left. My desktop table should reflect that philosophy and so I did the math: 1x door leaf + 2x bents = 70 x 200 cm lightweight table. So what’s about the dwarf thing? … The table is 6cm to high, a few days ago I added a used chair from a friend only to find out that this chair is loosing slowly air from its pneumatical system and moving around 7 cm down. Cool, I’m a child again. Interesting. how 13cm less (NO! Not there!) feels like. Dwarfs exist!
