Yesterday I got my 10.4 Upgrade DVD and today I’m already using ‘Tiger’.

Since there lots of reviews out there I just want to mention a few things:

• Spotlight is pretty cool, while not as fast as LaunchBar on my G3 iBook 800 with 640 MB RAM. I think I’ll use Spotlight, when Launchbar comes to its limits. Ex. searching for metadata within your digital-photo-collection
• Safari 2: Incredible speed improvement (more interested? take a look at the Browser speed comparisons) Safari2 recognizes RSS-Feed and offers one-click-access to newsfeeds.
• Mail, looks much more elegant now. The interface has been cleaned up and the drawer is not inside the mainwindow.
• System performance is nearly the same, maybe a bit faster but not slower. Not like updating from Windows 98 to XP

Summary: Well done - Get a copy!
